Membership

Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered Community Credit Union.

Membership is open to any persons who live, work, worship, attend school, or own businesses and other legal entities within the Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan Counties of Colorado. Immediate family members are also eligible to join but do not have to meet the above requirement, as long as they join the Credit Union through your membership.

Membership must be established, in person, with proper identification in order to comply with federal regulations.

You may establish your membership with a minimum savings account deposit of $50 (one share). A one-time non-refundable membership fee of $7.50 is required at the time of the opening the account. If you close your account within the first 90 days, your share purchase will be forfeited.

Dividends are paid on the full amount in your account as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $50.00.
