Debit Card Information

Important Notice

Deposits at Automated Teller Machines and Funds Availibility
We urge our members who are depositing to their Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union account through our ATM at 15 Bodo Drive to utilize our Night Drop located in the first drive up lane - generally funds will be available the next business day.

Funds from any deposits made at ATMs we do not own or operate will not be available until the fifth business day after the day of your deposit.

Funds from any deposits made at the ATM we own and operate will be available on the second business day after the day of the deposit, except U.S. Treasury checks made payable to you will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit. Also, the first $100 of a deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit. Checks drawn on Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit if the deposit is made at the ATM we own and operate. All ATMs we own or operate are identified as our machines - the only ATM we own or operate is located at 15 Bodo Drive, Durango, CO 81303.

Notice Date: November 30, 2008
Effective January 1, 2009, all debit card or ATM transactions that clear your account resulting in a negative account balance for the day will be charged an NSF charge for that day. These transactions will not automatically advance your savings or Line of Credit. To avoid this charge, you must bring your account balance to a positive balance by the end of the business day in which the overdraft happened.

Are You Traveling with your Debit Card?

If you are traveling out of the area and plan to use your Debit Card while you´re gone (remember Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union's ATM VISA Debit cards can only be used in the United States, Mexico and Canada) please let us know when and where you´re going along with your cell phone number. We will pass that information along to the Card Member Security company so you can avoid any unwanted security blocks on your card.

If your card is suddenly not working please contact Card Member Security at 1-888-241-2440 to see if further steps are needed to resolve the situation.

If you are calling from outside the United States, please call Card Member Security at 909-941-1034 (collect).

If you lose your debit card please call us immediately at 970-247-5204 during business hours. After hours please call 1-800-754-4128.

If you need to activate your new debit card please call 1-800-466-0040.
