Debit Card Lost or Stolen?
If you lose your debit card please call us immediately at 970-247-5204 during business hours. After hours please call 1-888-241-2510. If you are calling from outside the United States please call 1-909-941-1398.
Automated Attendant for Suspected Fraud Debit Card Transactions Coming Soon
As part of our continuing effort to bring the best technology and service to our members, we at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union are upgrading our Fraud Detection and Notification System. The new system will provide more immediate attention to notify our members faster when fraud is suspected. The notification portion of the system includes a state-of-the-art automated assistant to help our members review transactions and confirm their spending activity on Debit Cards.
If you receive a notification call from our automated assistant, whom we have nick-named Jill, please work with her to answer questions regarding recent card activity. Please also be aware that our Card Member Security team that provides fraud alert management is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week should you need assistance from a live agent.
If suspicious transactions are identified as fraudulent, calls will be transferred to our outstanding member support team at Card Member Security to help you take the necessary precautions to protect your cards and related accounts. If the recent activity is legitimate, members will be able to close the case with the phone attendant using their touch-tone phone. Are You Traveling with your Debit Card?
If you are traveling out of the area and plan to use your Debit Card while you´re gone (remember Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union's ATM VISA Debit cards can only be used in the Continental United States and Hawaii, Mexico, and Canada) please let us know when and where you´re going along with your cell phone number. We will pass that information along to the Card Member Security company so you can avoid any unwanted security blocks on your card.
Deposits at Automated Teller Machines and Funds Availability
We urge our members who are depositing to their Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union account through our ATM at 15 Bodo Drive to utilize our Night Drop located in the first drive up lane - generally funds will be available the next business day.
Funds from any deposits made at ATMs we do not own or operate will not be available until the fifth business day after the day of your deposit.
Funds from any deposits made at the ATM we own and operate will be available on the second business day after the day of the deposit, except U.S. Treasury checks made payable to you will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit. Also, the first $200 of a deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit. Checks drawn on Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union will be available on the first business day after the day of the deposit if the deposit is made at the ATM we own and operate. All ATMs we own or operate are identified as our machines - the only ATM we own or operate is located at 15 Bodo Drive, Durango, CO 81303.
